DIY Fathers Day gifts you can do at home

Since the children where little my husband and I have always hated the hole buying frenzy that happens over holidays like Fathers day, Mothers day and Valentines Day. All days designed to make you spend money!

We have always had a rule that it needs to be hand made or just a card or don't bother. We have enough clutter in house and I detest buying things 'something small' (clutter) for the sake of buying it ! They have very little value over a long time and land up in the bin as most of the time this kind of clutter or stuff has the shelf life of a week! Then you feel bad throwing it away and there you have it - CLUTTER!

So this fathers day I'm on my normal idea looking quest to find a DIY project i can get the kids to do with minimal mess and time! Because as most people know me I am lastminute dot com Sally!

Crayon Art

All you need is some crayons - and if you have some old broken ones lying around (and if you have children this is not a problem - if you take them out to eat you normally get given then too! )

A canvas - Tiger or Amazon stock cheap ones!
