CSR / Corporate Social Responsibility.
Yenza Cleaning & Property Services company is serious about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). So serious that we are a Social Enterprise and are currently registering as a community interest company. We have a business approach that contributes to sustainable development by delivering, economic, social and environmental benefits to all stakeholders. Our CSR initiatives operate in four key areas – Workplace, Community, Sustainability & Environment. Care for the community and sustainability is at the core of everything we do.

Workplace
HAPPINESS RATIO IS 80%
In the workplace, our CSR programmes are focused on people. These include employment initiatives, apprenticeships, training & skills, equal opportunities and using responsibly-sourced products and services. We select the best people and give them the best training, equipment and knowledge to perform an excellent job. We want our people to have a career in cleaning and most of our senior team have progressed through the ranks. Even if they do not want a long term career in cleaning we help them upskill so they feel fulfilled. We provide our people with a route to progress in the industry with the highest levels of training, formal qualifications and opportunities to progress.

Community
CARE FOR THE COMMUNITY
Our community CSR initiatives involve community & education, community projects, job interview support, armed forces recruitment, and social care. For example, if Monika who is Polish is struggling to study or communicate with English speaking people we will arrange for her to go on a free English Language course. This will then open up other windows of opportunity for her to upskill. We help single or young Mum's find work around their children's childcare.
We also believe in paying a fair rate and NOT minimum wage!
We believe the people who are doing the work should get the lions share of funds.

Sustainability & Environmental
NOT JUST ECO BUT ETHICAL TOO!
Our sustainability and environmental CSR policies are designed to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. These policies fall into seven categories, covering travel, waste, managing for the long-term and the short-term, balancing competition and cooperation, creating services that meet social and environmental needs, moving towards ‘closed-loop’ solutions and innovative & technological solutions.
In other words more than just eco-friendly but ethically sound too.
